Nina Inhammar and Kim Kärnfalk are former singers of the band Friends, who won the Swedish final in 2001 with "Listen to your heartbeat". Friends also came 2nd in 2000 and 8th in 2002. Now the girls perform as a duo, and was offered to sing "Give me your love" in 2003 but declined.

Dan Attlerud has written "Se mig" in 2000 and "Sista andetaget" in 2002. Lars Diedricsen wrote "Take me to your heaven" in 1999, "Allt som jag ser" in 2001 and "No hay nada mas" in 2002. Marcos Ubeda composed "Never let it go" in 2002, but also songs as "Aqua playa" and "My love" in 2003, "No hay nada mas" and "Son of a liar" in 2002.
Sarek came 6th in 2003 with "Genom eld och vatten". Since last time they have changed some members, now the group consists of Zara Kronwall, Jessica Wetterstrand, Ola Hertzberg, Göran Månsson and Stina Jadelius.

The composer Lasse Berghagen was one of four specially invited by SVT. Lasse Berghagen has composed five entries in Melodifestivalen. In 1969 Jan Malmsjö sang "Hej Clown". Lasse Berghagen performed three years in a row; 1973 ("Ding-Dong" 7th place), 1974 ("Min kärlekssång till dig" 2nd place) and finally a victory in 1975 with "Jennie Jennie". He also wrote the lyrics to "Du är alltid en del av mig" performed by Henrik Åberg in 1996.
Niklas Andersson has performed in many musicals, both in Sweden and London. He sang "I want you" in MF 2002 but did not make it to the final.

E-type is one of four specially invited by SVT. E-type has had several hits since his debut album "Made in Sweden" (1994); "Here I go again", "This is the way", "Life", "Africa" and "Campione", which was the official anthem for European Championships in football 2000.
"Paradise" is produced by Rami and Max Martin, who has written several hits to stars as Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Boyzone, Westlife and Celine Dion.

Bubbles came 9th in Melodifestivalen 2003 with "T.K.O.". The five girls in Bubbles are Caroline Ljungström, Sandra Joxelius, Patricia Joxelius, Yenny Andersén and Hannah Steffenburg. Yenny and Hannah were too young to participate last time, but now the whole group will be on stage.

Mats Hedström wrote "It takes two" in MF 2002. Daniel Eklund wrote "Last to know" in MF 2002.
Gladys del Pilar participated the first time in 1994 with "Det vackraste jag vet", which resulted in a second position. In 2002, together with Afro-dite, she won and "Never let it go" represented Sweden in Tallinn. The girls made another try in 2003 with "Aqua playa" but came 7th.

Both Sandra Dahlberg and Johan Becker are in the talent show Fame Factory this season.
Johan Becker has written songs for A-Teens, Peter Jöback, Charlotte Nilsson, Nicole Lacy, Kim Sanders and participants in talent shows as Popstars and Fame Factory. Johan Becker sang "She´s A Mystery To Me" in the movie "The Longshot" where Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are acting. He has recently had a big hit with "Every Single Star", performed by finalists
in the tv-show "Star Search" in Germany.
Sandra Dahlberg has been described as a mix between Nanne Grönwall and Shakira.

She hosted the contest in 1996. Ann-Louise Hanson has a record of 12 entries in MF; 1963 x2, 1966, 1967 x2, 1969, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1982, 1983 and the latest a duet with Molle in 2002. Towa Carson has performed three songs. "Alla har glömt" and "Vem frågar vinden" in 1967 and "Du vet var jag finns" in 1968.

Bosson (alias Staffan Olsson) had a top 10-hit in Euorpe and Asia with "One in a million", the soundtrack of the film Miss Congeniality starring Sandra Bullock. The song resulted in a Golden Globe nomination. Bosson has toured with Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears.

Lena Philipsson was one of four specially invited by SVT. She chose between two songs; "Det gör ont" and another one, written by Magnus Uggla. Lena has participated in MF five times, but only performed on three occasions; in 1986, 1987 and 1988. She has also hosted the Swedish selections two times; in 2000 and 2003.
Thomas "Orup" Eriksson wrote two of the entries in Melodifestivalen 1989. "Mitt ibland änglar" (3rd) performed by Fingerprints and "Upp över mina öron" (2nd) performed by himself and Anders Glenmark. He was specially invited in 1998 but withdrew. Later he released the song "Du kom, du sågs, du segrade" on his album "Teddy".
At first the song had the title "Stopp! Nej! Gå härifrån", but the composer changed to "Det gör ont". Later he wrote a new song named "Stopp! Nej! Gå härifrån" for Lena's album.
