She wrote "Anropar försvunnen" (2000) and three entries in 2003; "Nothing can stop me", "We're unbreakable" and "Better believe it", which she also performed. "Better believe it" did not qualify to the final, but instead won ”Baltic Song Contest” the same year.

A very simple country tune, but still very beautiful. I am not sure it will appeal the big audience, so it will not qualify. But Andersson & Gibson have good voices, though.

A very typical Thomas G:son-schlager. Like a mix between "Tango tango" and "Idag och imorgon". It makes you really happy. Anna Book performs it very well. The lyrics could have been better, sounds a bit stupid. It will definitely qualify directly to the final.

This type of songs is too modern for this concept. But in a way I like this strange song. I fear it will end up last, though.

In 2006 he joined Six4One and represented Switzerland in Eurovision Song Contest.

I am a bit disappointed in Andreas Lundstedt's entry. I though it would be much more disco and funk, than this blip-blop mess. I hear some influences from Justin Timberlake. Too monotonous.

Tommy Nilsson has a great voice. But his song is quite boring actually. Maybe it gets a secong chance. It is not as good as "En dag" back in 1989.

I like the rhythm and the Greek instruments. But I cannot find any hook. The chorus is too repetitive.

Performers | Irma had some hits in the early 90's and has worked as an actress lately. Uno started his career in the band Freda' in the 80's. As a solo artist he has had several hits in Sweden.

Oh my God, what I like this song. A very positive and catchy tune. Even if I do not like Uno's voice that much, I will overlook that. The melody is huge, you can hear influences from Staffan Hellstrands previous songs.

Performer | Regina Lund is a well-known actress in Sweden and has starred in a lot of movies and tv-series. She has also recorded some albums with minor success.
When Bobby Ljunggren and Fredrik Kempe contacted Regina, they asked her to listen to a song they had written for her. She was disappointed, it was a ballad. Instead the three of them wrote a song together - an up-tempo.
Regina Lund has been offered entries for Melodifestivalen before, but turned them down.

Disco with a touch from the 80's. Regina is not a great singer, but she will do a great performance. "Rainbow star" grows a lot after some listenings.

At first I found this very boring. But later it became very beautiful. The song may have some qualities but should not have any chances in the contest. But you never know! I can hear some influences from Maria McKee's "Show me heaven" and singer/song writers such as Swedish Sophie Zelmani and Anna Ternheim.

"Amanda" is much better than "Vi kan gunga" from 2005. This sounds more "What difference does it make" from 2002. At the same time I hear Håkan Hellström's "Kom igen Lena" in this happy catchy tune. Jimmy will qualify directly to the final.

Niklas Edberger (from the Hurricane-team) has written"Just like a boomerang", "Innan mörkret faller", "Runaway", "Olé olé", "Alcastar", "Om natten", "Alla flickor", "Vi kan gunga" and "Las Vegas".
Kent Olsson is a debutant.
Performer | The first single from the girl group Cosmo4 "Peek-a-Boo" came in 2006 and reached some popularity on radio and the charts. Cosmo4 consists of Yasmine, Ulrika, Jenny and Rudina.

Well, the song is quite okay. But I think it is too ordinary without that extra hook. A little bit of Shakira and a little bit of Helena Paparaizou.

Acutally better than I had expected. This sounds like a hit song written by Orup. Even if the singer has not the greatest voice "Allt som vi en gång trodde på" is one of the better song in semi 2.

Performer | Jessica Andersson is the female part of Fame, and won Melodifestivalen in 2003 with "Give me your love". In ESC the song reached 5th place. Fame also participated with "Vindarna vänder oss" (2004). In 2006 Jessica Andersson came 5th in the third semi final with "Kalla nätter".

Jessica has a great voice, and sings this disco song well. The song is good, but not a masterpiece. Could do well, but also end up in the bottom.

Sweet bossa nova with voices that match perfectly. Some may think it is old fashioned, but "Första gången" is timeless. Some simlarities with "A different kind of love" from 2005.

Maybe we have too high expectations on The Ark. "The worrying kind" is not the best song from the group, but still it is really good. They have stolen from "Love grows (where my Rose Mary goes)" in the chorus. Unfortunately the verses are too weak. But The Ark will qualify directly to the final.

"Live forever" is a mix between A-ha's "Take on me" and Bosson's songs. Magnus really sings well, but I think he sings falsetto too much. One of the best songs in this semi.

The Attic's first single "I Just Can't Help It" charted #1 for seven weeks on the Swedish Dance Chart, and was one of the most played tracks on the Swedish Radio winter/spring 2004. The song was also featured as the theme for Swedish national TV4's program Fortet (Fort Boyard) and The Attic also wrote the whole musical score for the program. "The arrival" has a very nice groove. Very good produced. But unfortunately the song is too modern for this contest. Directly to the final if I would decide.

Sebastian's voice sound very much like Andreas Johnson's. And the song too. "When the night comes falling" is a good pop song with British influences. One of the best songs in this semi.

Her first song as a composer was "Etymon" in 2006.
This will be Nanne Grönvall's 10th entry and Peter Grönvall's 9th. It started with "Eldorado" in 1986, and through the years they have written well-known songs like "Alexandra" (1987), "Det vackraste" (1995), winning song "Den vilda" (1996) and "Avundsjuk" (1998). In 2005 Nanne wrote "Håll om mig" together with Ingela Pling Forsman.
Performer | "Jag måste kyssa dig" is Nanne's 7th song as a performer - the 4th as a solo artist. In 2005 she missed the victory with only 3 points.

Sorry, but I have had it with Nanne's entries. It is very much the same as usual. No harmonic melody, just rhythm.

"Vågar du, vågar jag" is a worse copy of "Invincible". Sanna Nielsen has a great voice, but she tend to make a boring appearence on stage. I think this kind of schlager is old fashioned, especially when we have heard good songs with The Ark and Sebastian.

"La dolce vita" from 2004 was much better. This song is a cheap copy of Village People's "Go west". Christer Lindarw is not a great singer, but he knows how to make a good performance. So, watch out, this can be a huge success, even if I don't want it.

Sarah Dawn Finer has a warm and beautiful voice. The verses are very good and strong. Maybe the chorus is a bit weak, I had expected more power.

Peter Kvint also co-wrote "Sing for me".
Performer | Andreas Johnson was uncertain to return to the contest as a singer after his huge success with "Sing for me", but accepted to perform the song.

I admit the chorus is not as immediate as "Sing for me". But however "A little bit a love" is a lovely song. In the verses I hear influences from Bruce Springsteen. The chorus is just a nice flow of influences from the 60's. One of the best songs in Melodifestivalen 2007.
